EU-India Joint Action Plan Support Facility Environment Component





Welcome to APSF-Environment

The project aims to promote dialogue between India and Europe on sustainable development, to share lessons on managing the environment, and to assist in achieving improvements for environmental policy and regulatory capacity. The main project themes are: chemicals, waste, water, air and climate change.

The client is The Delegation of the European Commission to India, Bhutan and Nepal.

The Ministry of Environment and Forests represents the Government of India as counterpart for the implementation of the APSF – Environment Component.

Technical Assistance for the APSF - Environment Component is provided by a consortium led by Euroconsult Mott MacDonald.

- APSF Experts are preparing source guides on e-waste management in the EU and India and policy advice as follow-up of the EU-India Workshop on Management of E-waste, held in New Delhi on 2 Feb 2010.




05/05/10 - Workshops are in progress with a view to provide guidance on risk assessment for chemicals management.
